After living in Aspen, Colorado for six months and nearly getting dragged back to Vegas, he fled and assumed a new identity, leaving the  United States. He hopped on the first plane he found at random and ended up in Dakar, where he eventually met a young man by the name of Lucas North. They began dating and eventually moved in together. They settled in London, where Lucas took a job with MI-5. Everything seemed to be going well, until Lucas went to Russia on a mission and never returned.

The only person to offer him assistance was Kathleen Carrington, the manager of the Venetian Tears, one of Las Vegas' premier hotel casinos. She offered him a job as a blackjack dealer, and one day, a foreign dignitary asked her how much to sleep with the bright-eyed boy. Promising he would be well-compensated, Kathleen talked Kyle into sleeping with the dignitary to ensure he would enjoy his visit; one thing led to another and fourteen years later, Kyle's one of the most sought-off whores at the Venetian Tears. It's been a hard-won position and he's fought hard to keep it, but he claims his success can be traced back to one fundamental rule: never fall in love.
